Let's Get Acquainted

My name is Chevette Lindsay Lewis; I’m an island girl, born and raised in Kensington, Portland, Jamaica, WI, 60 miles North East of Kingston. I migrated to the USA when I was 20 years old.

After my transformational journey with guilt, people-pleasing, shame, self-doubt, low self-confidence, blame, unforgiveness, and social anxiety.

I wanted a personal platform to connect, share my experience, and help others with their transformational journey. So I created Connections Paradise.

I am a passionate Transformation Life Coach, Motivational Speaker, and Fitness Coach.

For most of my life, or as far as I can remember, I have loved uplifting, motivating, encouraging, helping to guide others on the path to find answers to change their lives, and fitness have always been the things that I never got tired of doing. They brought joy and fulfillment to my heart and soul.

I have the heart to push people past their comfort zone to get to their greatest potential to see their lives transformed; I love GOD and people. So my mission is to help others on their transformational journey, whether spiritual, physical, or emotional, create a barely recognizable life.

My Transformation

I started to allow God to manifest, work, and transform my life by spending time with him and meditating on his words through my daily devotions. I also worked very hard pushing myself out of my comfort zone to figure out who I was and what I wanted out of life.

As I started to allow God, to work, transform, and manifest in my life through his words. I’ve developed an intimate relationship with him through daily devotions, reading his words, and meditating on them. I started to transform my life by overcoming blame, guilt, timidness, shyness, people-pleasing, limitations, social anxiety, and low self-confidence, Includes pushing myself out of my comfort zone.

For most of my life, I’ve lived with the stronghold of the limited beliefs systems. Living with a limited mindset made me perform below capacity and prevented me from living up to my fullest potential because of the low standards that I set for my life.

My deepest fear

My deepest fear is not that I am inadequate, My deepest fear is that I am powerful beyond measure. It’s my light not darkness that most frightens me.

I ask myself, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?Actually, who am I not to be? I am a child of God; my playing small doesn’t serve the world. There is nothing enlightening about shrinking, so that other people will not feel insecure about me.

I was born to manifest the glory that’s within me. It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone. And as I let my own light shine, I unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As I am liberated from my own fear, my presence automatically liberated others.

Nelson Mandela

“For God has not given us a Spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self discipline.”
